Mesmer


The Mesmer is a potent manipulator and can be an annoyance like no other. The profession specializes not in directly inflicting damage upon its foes, but rather decrease their effectiveness in battle. They are an excellent support profession, as they can almost completely eliminate the threat from certain characters, if used wisely. One of their great advantages over other spellcasters is their fast casting attribute. It allows them to decrease the casting time of their skills, an issue that can be of dire consequence when in thick of battle. This ability allows them to be an excellent primary profession, yet often utilizing the skills of their secondary.



Fast Casting [Primary Only]: Fast Casting increases the speed of which skills can be activated, the more attribute points spent upon it; the more rapid the Mesmer's skill delivery will be.
Domination: Increases the effectiveness of skills linked to this attribute. Typically, domination linked skills reduce the casting efficiency of other magical characters.
Illusion: Increases the effectiveness of skills linked to this attribute. Typically, illusion linked skills fool with the mind of other character's, reducing their effectiveness.
Inspiration: Increases the effectiveness of skills linked to this attribute. Typically, inspiration linked skills fool around with the buffs, debuffs and energy stockpiles of self or other characters.


Arcane Thievery
Description: For 5...35 seconds, one random spell is disabled for target foe, and Arcane Thievery is replaced by that spell.
