Ritualist


The Ritualist is a character that is very closely connected to the spiritual world. As such, the Ritualist is able to summon spirit creatures to aid them in battle. In addition, they have many restoratives and offensive magic. To say the Ritualist is a jack of all trades is certainly an understatement. The Ritualist is one of two new professions available in Guild Wars: Factions and below is a complete list of skills and attributes.


Due to the fact that during the PvP Beta Event Weekend we can only create PvP characters, it is unknown at this time what skill set newly created Ritualist characters will receive.


Channeling Magic: Ritualist skills, especially those related to lightning damage and energy, are more effective with Channeling Magic.
Communing: Ritualist skills, especially those related to summoning spirits, are more effective with Communing.
Restoration Magic: Ritualist skill, especially those related to healing, health stealing and defense, are more effective with Restoration Magic.
Spawning Power: Ritualist skills, especially those related to spirit creatures, are more effective with Spawning Power.
